I have the honor of enclosing a copy of a Resolution of the Trustees of St. John's Cathedral which I was directed to lay
before you for the consideration of His Excellency.
It appears by the Surveyor General's report to the Trustees that upwards of £1800 must necessarily be expended at
once in the simple maintenance of the fabric.
The Trustees have hitherto been enabled
out of the funds entrusted to their management to defray the several charges attending the celebration of divine service,
