Sir,
In reply to your letter of 12th instant, requesting remission of Market Rent, I am directed to point out to you that before your request can be considered, it will be necessary for you to pay the amount due on that account for the months of January and February; which was payable before the destruction of the Market by fire.
His Excellency has the Market dilemma at present under consideration, and you shall in due course receive further communication on this subject.
