Apprehending Major Caine Commandant of Hongkong and April Bay.
Letter from the Assistant Adjutant General at Hongkong conveying to Major Caine the Acknowledgment of Major General D'Aquilar for his services whilst in temporary Command of the Garrison.
3rd May 1847
Note: This proves that though not a Regimental Major yet as the Commandant of the Garrison, I did perform Military Duty. Garrison Orders moreover there issued in my name.
