his leave, expiring on the 29th, he may be said to have already relinquished his Office.

more merciful view is decided upon, then it is to be hoped that the Rev. G. C. Armistead - the Chaplain of

the

Naval Hospital at H. Hong Kong, whom Mr. Irwin has asked to officiate, may be able
