My dear Alcock,
Permit me to introduce to you an old Assistant of mine, Dr John Falconer, who gained the Anatomical Studentship at the College of Surgeons after severe competition.
He is an accomplished Medical man, for whose personal character I have the highest esteem. He proceeds to China with a view to private practice.
