The Lieutenant Generat has had under his consideration the procudings of a Court of Enquiry, assembled to investigate charges of misconduct made against the Cficers of a detachment, imployed at Cowlion, the 218 April Gud.

The Lieutenant General has approved the Rocevilings, the Court, and has great satisfaction in adopting their opinion, that, the conduct of Major Cazalet, and of the detachment under his command, was correct & regular cannot however but express his regret that, Assistant Surgeon Orr

It is further matter of regret to the Lieutenant General that Officers whose unduct has thus been absolved from blame, shoute have forgotten the respect due to constituted authorities, & their. dignity, in the answers recorded by them to the Circular Memo: issued from the Town Major's Office on the 25th April.
