The Staff Officer Master and Marine Magistrate of Hong Kong have asserted having taken three months leave of absence from the 12th of January last. Save as directed by the Secretary for Labour, I am instructed to issue a Certificate: that half Salary as it may from time to time fall due during the above period. I enclose a certificate bearing the amount of Salary enjoyed by Capt: Bathurst & the date to which he has received it in the usual Share Account.
