"I am commanded to acquaint you for the information of Mr. Secretary Labouchere, that the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury are pleased to approve of the appointment of Mr. Alfred Weatherhead to a Clerkship in the Secretary's Office at Hong Kong, with a Salary of two hundred and fifty pounds per annum, as proposed to your Lordship.
