The Passage was a very protracted
and severe one besides the
severe gales in coming
round
the
Cape
of
the
Good Hope for weeks,
three hurricanes were encountered
and the Carribean sea was many days. The Master and crew
were quite exhausted on
their
arrival, One or two of the latter died, and the Chief Mate was off duty two months.
