With reference to the payment of the 6th instant on account of the Company's claim for the conveyance of Messrs Sterling and Trotter from Hong Kong to Southampton, I have the honor to acquaint you that Mr Sterling called at this Office on the 16th November last and paid the amount of his passage money £100 : — Stating that he had received the same from the Secretary of the Transport Board.
