a request was yesterday sent by His Excellency, the Naval Commander in Chief desiring that a company of the 59th Regiment should be sent up per Barracouta to assist in the protection of the Factories. Will you be so good therefore to take the necessary measures with The Honorable Lunt, Colonel Caine, Administrator Administering the Government of Hong Kong.
