I have the honor to acknowledge
your despatch No. 95 of 11th August 1850, respecting the Passenger Ships "Syvant" and "General Blakes."
My Despatch No. 109 of 15th July last will have acquainted you
with the result of the "Syvant" case,
of the "General Blakes" nothing further has yet
been heard here.
