Regiment of Foot, which Sentence is in the following words.
The Court having found the "Prisoner guilty of the charge,
preferred against him, which
:- being in breach of the Articles
of War, and taking consider-
ation his former convictions
and bad character does now
sentence him the Prisoner to
300 lashes Private John Carter 59th
Regiment, to penal Servitude
for five years and "that he be placed under
Stoppages in accordance
with the 33 Clause of the
Mutiny Act, until the articles
as specified in the second
charge be made good viz.
One Stock and clasps 1 Forage
Cap
and number, and one
pair of cloth trousers".
