By the Honorable the Lieut: Governor

Council Chamber.

25th September 1856.

Executive

The tone of the letter from the Justices dated 23rd instant is so discourteous, that I do not consider a reply in length would be either dignified or useful, therefore I suggest that its receipt be acknowledged with an intimation that His Excellency The Governor will forward it, together with all the correspondence connected therewith, to the Right Honorable The Secretary of State for the Colonies.
