first instance for two Mandamuses "requiring", in the first case, "W. A Mitchell, Heys, Ho., and Charles May "Just. Ho., to enquire into and adjudicate
upon
the complaint of William Cowper Heys & Ho. against George Daddell for nuisance by him committed within

"the intent and meaning of Ordinance Section 15 in continuing illegal encroachment by him thereon
made on certain Crown Lands situated
'the said
in Victoria in Hongkong, and also to 'pay unto the said William Proper Heys costs of this application, and of the Mandamus, if issued, and of all proceedings which may be had thereon,
and in the other case making a
similar requisition upon Lye Ating
alone, to enquire into and adjudicate upon the complaint of Fraser & Co. against Lye Ating for a nuisance
committed by him on the 2nd day of August

within the intent and meaning of the said Sections two and eleven, in prosecuting certain work, in Lyndhurst Terrace, Victoria, &c., contrary to the provisions of the said Ordinance.
