I hereby note my dissent on the passing of the mentioned Ordinance.
I object to Section VII of the said Ordinance which provides for the admission of Aliens, and Chinese whether Aliens or not, Candidates to the Rolls of Practitioners in the Supreme Court. I believe this to be a dangerous innovation in the Profession, and without precedent either in the United Kingdom or in Her Majesty's Colonies.
