but, as I have observed, his objection therein made does not hold good against the adoption of the Ordinance.

Awing the Ex-Governor referred to has proceeded to say, resigning his interinership in consequence of the introduction of the prohibition to the holding of two offices, and, annoyed at the opposition raised to him, is, as I understand, about to leave the Colony.

The three last clauses of the Ordinance embrace matters relating to Attorney's costs, and give to the Suitors in the Supreme Court here the benefits which an Imperial Act has provided for the cheaper administration of Justice.

I trust this Ordinance will be sanctioned by you, and submitted to Her Most Gracious Majesty for Approval and confirmation.
