I have now to state that on 17th Ultimo the Magistrate condemned the ship to a fine of £100 and Costs and I enclose letter from the Attorney General in which that Officer complains of the inadequacy of the punishment,
in revision as to which I concur when I consider the nature of the offence, and the necessity of making an example to prevent a recurrence under the Act.
