It is a serious annoyance and a test of the Cemetery ground long used.
VOL for blindly, more the Taping Shan District, and, as the devout happened to be sickly, the population connected the mortality with the graveyard; and certainly the slovenly mode in which some of the interments were made was dangerous and reprehensible.
It therefore became necessary to close this ground, and remove the Western Cemetery still further from the City.
The Kowloon Peninsula was suggested, and I caused a communication to be opened, but negotiations were made fruitlessly with the Kowloon Mandarin for this purpose.
