In the event we are most desirous of ascertaining the intentions of Government, respecting the construction of a Road in front of our lot at Hong Kong, the situation of which is not unlikely at this season of the year nor would be dangerously situate, and if Government do not intend carrying out their proposed plan for the construction of a Road, we should commence building a sea-wall immediately, in order to protect it.
