We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 20th inst., and in reply beg to inform you we will readily co-operate with Government in constructing a public walk on Praya in front of our Marine Lot, in accordance with the plan proposed, and on such terms as may be agreed to by other parties, whose lots will be affected by the intended alteration. "We are glad to learn that Government will grant an increase to the size of the lots, when it may be wished, by selling the line of the Queen's Road, further inland; and
