Being interested in Marine Lot N:46, and at the request of Messrs. Matheson, Matherson & Co., Agents for Capt. Lashing, I have to acknowledge the receipt of your communication addressed to me under date 28th ulto.
You state that Mr. Mathieson desires me to inform you that his firm does not feel justified in incurring the expense of building a "Praya", or, as you propose, extending the present Praya.
Regretting that Mr. Matheson's decision prevents my proceeding to your proposal for so desirable an improvement,
