1. The following letters were considered: Letter to the Colonial Secretary, dated 6th February 1856, that of the Surveyor General dated 16th February, and that of Messrs. Duddell & Co. dated 21st February. Resolved, that His Excellency be recommended to defer his decision on all applications of the kind until the plan of the Praya has been publicly defined and made.
