I have to acknowledge your letter of this date, on the subject of the danger to which the proprietors of the Marine Lot to the Westward of the Parade Ground may be exposed from the firing of the Murray Battery:
His Excellency The Governor directs me to suggest that the former place for salutes might be reverted to with advantage, and His Excellency will be obliged if Lieut: Colonel Dunlop will take the suggestion into serious consideration.
