I am directed to inform you that

His Excellency The Governor has done all officially that depends upon him to put a stop to the unhappy difference between yourself and the Attorney General and to prevent any reference to the Government at Home.

That his Excellency has failed, as on the one hand the Attorney General does not think it becoming to comply with the recommendation submitted to him, and on the other stipulate for conditions
