Attorney General's office,

now to perform the painful duty of acknowledging and replying to your letter (1378) of the 23 Ultimo, announcing His Excellency's decision,

on the subject of the complaint made
viz.
'against me by the Chief Justice; viz Not to institute enquiries
as to what
'passed at his own table, but 'to leave
the Chief Justice and myself to take such-

deem necessary.
