Sixth Prisoner states that the articles found in his box had been placed there by Chun Ayong, not out of spite, as he had summoned him before the Magistrate, and calls His Apock, who states, "This prisoner and myself were in the employ of Kue King as a bricklayer. Prisoner left Kue King's employ a short time ago in consequence of a bad hand. He is a good man."
Kue Hing, a bricklayer, also gives this prisoner a good character.
