I have the hour to forward
most satisfactory Statement, Shewing the large increase of shipping which entered the Port of Hongkong
in the year 1855 compared with 1854. By this Return it appears that
the number of vessels which have anchored in this harbour was 636, and the Tonnage 161,126, in excess of the preceding year.
