In pursuance of the Instructions of the Lords Commissioners of the first day of January 1856, we the undersigned commenced this year by surveying the funds remaining in custody of the Officers of Her Majesty's Treasury, I have caused surveys to be taken of the money deposited in the Treasury Vault respectively by the Treasurer, and the Officers hereby certify that I have found the result to be in strict accordance with the statement of the Balances as certified by me to be on hand.
