Friday, Aug. 15. Notwithstanding the uncertain political outlook operators are un- daunted. True their attentions in the main bave been confined to the lower priced issues, in which there has been a steadily increasing turnover, accompanied by advances the close in quotations. and st operators interest is maintamed and unsatisfied.
The heavy investments continue in favour without business resulting only two small parcels of R, K Banks at $1330 and $1345 respec- tively, and two lots of Kowloon Wharves at $91 have been reported. Possibly pointing to holders of this. class of shares sharing in the optimism "prevailing in the other sections of the market, there are no sellers in sight
