2nd. Dice and spinning dice
3rd. Lotteries.

The degree of participation extended by gamblers, of the lower class chiefly, to gamble is very great, in all the common gambling houses they play almost nothing but this game. Large sums of money are lost or won in a short time; in fact, a person may gain or lose any amount he likes to put down, if the keeper accepts it, in a game which takes only 2 or 3 minutes.
