A double-header followed on Sunday when the Royal Engineers provided the 'surprise of the week by downing South China by nine tallies to ATE. The one remaining game saw the Asheville lads take a 6-4 decision over the Hongkong Baseballers.

As expected, the Mindanao-H.B. tussle turned out to be a fitting. opener, the lead changing hands no less than six times before the game ended with the blue-jackets out in front by the odd-run in thirteen.

What was not generally expected though, was that the Brewers would be beaten Beaten they were and the credit, most of it.. went to "Ski Pawlawski who held the Brewers heaviest sluggers hit- less.
