Recreio Breaks Proud Record Of Kowloon F.C. In

Second Div.

Surprises marked the lawn bowls league programme on Satur- day, the most meritorious one being brought off by the Kovicon C. C. who recorded their first victory at the expense of Recreio""B" on the latter's green.

In the Second Division Recreio shattered the 100 per cent, record of Kowloon Football Club while Hongkong Cricket Club also secured their first win of the season by defeating Taikoo on their won green. The only club to possess a 100 per cent, record is Kowloon Tong in Second Division, Clean sweeps were returned by Indian R. C. In First Division and Craigengower in Third Division.

A pretty wedding took place at Teresa's Church, Kowloon Tong, on Saturday afternoon when MISS LENA ELAINE LIZOLA BOCHA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Rocha, became the bride of MR. HENRIQUE ALBERTO BOTEL- LO, of the staff of the China Provident, Lean and Mortgage Co. Ltd. The Rex Father A Granelli officiated at the ceremony.

Entering the Church on the arm of her father, the bride looked charming in a dress of French lace with tulle trimming and short balo vell with orange blossoms. Her bouquet comprised white carna- tions.

As bridesmaid. Miss Marjorte Lizola Rocha, the bride's only sister, wore printed French tulle on a pink background and a Du Barry style hat, of pink tulle. Her bouquet was of pink carsations.
