Insurance Premiums Increases Reported By China Underwriters

Increases in Life, Accident, Marine and Fire insurance premiumus, were reported by the Chairman, Hon. Mr. A. L. Shields, at the annual meeting of China Underwriters, Ltd.. held yesterday:

Death claims have increased by $36,781 but surrenders have decreased by over $20,000. Fire claims were up by $22,000," while Marine claims were lower by over $14,000, There were also fewer Accident claims.
