Total revenue will be $12,200,000 a year instead of $11.000,006 at present estimated according to increased bagle rates, and'in- cluding revenue from Interest Tax (on loans and mortgages), a new imposition, as contained in the Report of the Reconstituted War Revenue Committee tabled in Legislative Counell yesterday afternoon.
The Committee recommend an increase in the basic rates of Salaries, Business Prößts, Property, Corporations Profits and In- terest Taxes, from 5 per vent, and 10 per cent. to 6' per cent, and ̧ 12 per cent, respectively.
