Careful voluntary guardianship of the news sent by short waves from the United States to the rest of the warld has been undertaken by American short wave interests.

This is the effect of the action taken recently when Stanley P. Richardson, a veteran foreign correspondent, was appointed Interna- tional Broadcasting Co-ordinator for six lending companies in the short wave radiocasting field Mr. Richardson resigned his post as Executive Assistant to Joseph E.
