The 1940-41 hockey season closed yesterday with a convincing' win in the six-a-side hockey tournament for MIDDLESEX REGI. MENT "A," who triumphed 6-3 over C.BA.. "B" in the final after having disposed of C.B.A. "A" by an odd corner in the semi-final rounds.

Hockey of no high standard was seen yesterday and teams were generally weakened with clubs and Army splitting their first teams out to permit about equal strength in “A” and “B.” With none of the Indian regiments competing and both Police and Recreio absent, CB.A. and the Royal Engineers started out favourites.
