Favourites Run True To Form: Highest Dividend For Win Paid By So Nice.
THE NEWLY-ESTABLISHED RECORD OF 2.16 FOR THE 11⁄4-MILE, SET BY MAINSAIL ON SATURDAY, was shattered by FLEETWING (POY) on the second day of the EASTER RACE MEETING of the Hongkong Jockey Club yesterday, when it clocked in at 2.14.1, in the Bean- maris Stakes.
Oolong (Needa) broke Racylight's record of 1.54 for the mile when it covered the distance in 1.49.3; while Distant View (Pih) improved on its previous best time of 1.01.1 for the Half-Mile and 170 Yards run when it won the Albury Handicap yesterday in the new record time of 58.4.

The local soccer season came to its official end yesterday when the Champions of the Senior Division, SOUTH CHINA.. AA, met the REST OF THE LEAGUE in the annual match, the former going down,, for their defeat of the season by three clear goals, the score being, one-nt at the Interval.
At the conclusion of the game the winners of the three Divisions were presented with their respective trophies by Mrs.
M. K. Lo, wife of the Hon. Mr. M. K. La Vice-President of the Hongkong Football Association.
The game, on the whole, was the result of brilliant work of the only entertaining in patches from Rest halves who dominated the Junior Shield; R.A.S.C.; runners-a spectator's point of view and midfield. Bankler had only two
