MEMBERSHIP DECLINE IS Sino-British

REPORTED AT EUROPEAN

Y.M.C.A. ANNUAL MTG.

The annual "general meeting of the European F.M.C.A. was held yesterday in the West Lounge of the YM.CA. building, MR. P. S. CASSIDY, the Acting President being in the Chair.

A decline in membership since the previous year was reported in the Chairman's speech. Mr. Cassidy emphasised the point that though the Accounts showed surplus of nearly $3,000 after mak- ing the usual transfèrs to reserve, these profits had been largely derived from the pre-evacuation period.
