Coal Control In Australia: Federal Board Appointed

The appointment of a Commonwealth Coal Board, with the widest powers to govern supply, disposition, and consumption of coal, was announced by the Australian Minister for Supply and Development, Senator McBride.

The board has been set up to ensure adequate provision of coal throughout Australia, and it will co-operate with the Ship- ping Control Board,
