TO LEAGUE TITLE

Convincing Victory Over Kwong Wah

SOUTH CHINA "ADVANCED A STEP NEARER TO THE SENIOR }. LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP YESTERDAY AT CAROLINE HILL when they defeated KWONG WAH by the convincing margin of five goals to one, after leading by two clear goals at the interval.

The slippery state of the ground and the patches of water were not very conducive to good soccer but nevertheless there werɛ mo-.. ments when both sides played football of a high calibre. On the whole, the winners were a better balanced team while the lasers did not impress as a unit.

South China's main strength lay Kwong Wah nearly equalised but in their intermediate line which a partially blockeri shot from Lee wag seldom penetrated, and if they Yam-leung was kicked out just in were beaten they had two strong time by Tsang.
