SUNDAY'S SOFTBALL:

Two "Needle" Matches Down For Decision

FORMIDABLE TASK CONFRONTING

ST. PAUL'S COLLEGE SPORTS

CANUCKETTE HURLER MARY NG Championship by Chui Kin-yan,

BY "R.O.Y."

IN CONTRAST TO THE DRAB FARE THAT HAS BEEN THE LOT OF SOFTBALL, ENTHUSIASTS during recent weeks, tomorrow's programme of five matches at the Kowloon Football Club, will in- clude the deciding match of the Ladies' league and a critical match in the First Division championship.

The Wahoos and Baby Panthers will open the card at 10 am.. and these longstanding tivals should provide a fitting curtain-raiser for the needle games that follow. Hal Wing Lee's Green Owls are out of the pennant race but have lost none of the great enthusiasm that has treen the main feature of their displays and should account for Cesare Xavier's Panther Kittens who, after a promising start, do not appear to be nearly as dangerous as they were at the start of the season.
