Istanbul With Message From Hitler
REAL REASON FOR ENTRY INTO BULGARIA
GERMANY'S ANXIETY OVER THE FIRM STAND TAKEN BY TURKEY IS SEEN IN THE ARRIVAL of a German plane in Istanbul with, it is believed, a coorter bearing a message from HERR HITLER to PRESIDENT INONU, states a London message.
The plane is expected in Ankara and the Germans are seeking permission from the sutkori- ties for it to land there.
There are, naturally, a food of rumours about what the message from Hitler contains, these ranging from bribes by Germany to threats.
Everything indicates that that the Germans are happy about the temper of Turkey as ampli- fied by the Ankara Radio, which declared that the entry of German troops Into Bulgaria was yet another murder of a small State's freedom.
