MAR 7 1856 I have the honor to report certain steps taken by me preparatory to the formation of a Parade or Promenade or Public Query to the front of the houses on the North side of the Queen's Road in the City of Victoria.
As long ago as the month of May last a proposition for such a scheme was submitted to me, and, after giving it full and mature consideration, I placed it before the public in the enclosed Notification, dated 7th November 1855.
