Navy Keeps Vigil In Far Eastern Waters
(BY A SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT IN THE MALAYA TRIBUNE)
The Royal Navy is kept busy, on its job in Far Eastern waters, and finds plenty to do although it may not have to combat daily attacks as do its ships in the Atlantic and else- where. Regular patrols are carried out, and ship crews are kept up to the mark by constant exercises.. These latter Include gunnery both against surface ships and aircraft, and extensive torpedo exercises. The regular routine is kept up, to a high standard with the hundred and one tasks to be carried out dally 'n any ship of the Royal Navy.
