WATER STORAGE

DESPITE THE HEAVY RAINFALL OF LAST YEAR, A DE- CREASE IN THE COLONY'S STORAGE OF WATER ON JANY, 1, 1941, as against the total storage on Jany, 1, 1940, is recorded in the wafer returns for the month of December, 1940.

Consumption of unfiltered water also showed an increase, the figures being 14.38 million gallons In
