Driver Escapes With Minor Scratches
Mr. M, Lee C. Wood, of No. 184, Argyle Street, escaped serious in-
early Jury
yesterday morning
when his car overturned after colliding with an island at the Junction of Bowring Street and Nathan Road.
According to a report made to the Police by Mr. Wood, he was driving along Nathan Road, short- ly after midnight when a Chinese woman suddenly ran across the road. He swerved to avoid her and crashed into the island. Mr. Wood got out through the window with only minor scratches on his face.
