NEW YORK COTTON: The lack of aggressive demand to absorb light hedging was responsible for the easiness today. Offerings of actual cotton in the South were light. The textile industry rules quiet.
CHICAGO WHEAT: The market fluctuated erratically within mo- derate limits. Commission Houses on both sides and profession- als were inclined to sell early in the day but later evening up operations appear to be the principal feature in the strength of the cash market.
