NEW YORK COTTON:
There have been substantial sales of cot-
ton goods at hardening-prices-The movement of new crop is slow due to unfavourable weather conditions and this makes the scarcity of "free" supplies doubly felt.
CHICAGO WHEAT: The carrying charges on any volume of new crop entering Into the Government Loan will mean that over 85- cents will be needed to release such Loans. This should result in a further hardening trend.
