Final instructions shall be received, then import shall be made without delay.
The property is thus placed in the position that it can neither be sold nor let, and a considerable loss we consequently suffer is obvious. We therefore beg leave strongly to press upon your attention the injustice and hardship of our case, and earnestly to request that direction may be sent by the first China Mail granting relief which we in justice are entitled to claim, so that the Government shall take the property into their own hands and realise the value thereof; or allow us to dispose of it to other parties.
